"Great food, great staff, clean and very presentable. It's the first Jamaican restaurant outside of Florida that I tried that cook real good. Everything that I tried in other states such as CA, PA, NY are garbage. Keep up the great work."

"The establishment is clean, the service is quick. The music is a little to loud so it was hard for the lady to hear my order, the parking is street parking and difficult to park. The curry goat was really good, fried cabbage was good. The ackee & saltfish with dumplings was okay. I give this place 4/5."

"Vanessa is very attentive, gives sample bites in case you don’t know what you’re about to enjoy. She puts her FOOT in her cooking!!! The pepper sauce is amazing and HOT there’s the store bought pepper sauce and her homemade pepper sauce. Callaloo is my favorite with boiled dumplings and green banana. Try it!!! I highly suggest it to everyone."

"The best Caribbean restaurant in the state of Connecticut!!! I’ve had my fair share of Caribbean restaurants but this restaurant right here did not disappoint. Ordered Oxtail rasta pasta. The dish was not on the menu. However, The owner was nice enough to make the order. When receiving my food, the aroma that came out the bag was mouth watering. The presentation was top tier. The taste was so flavorful omggg (Chef Kiss). If your ever in the Hartford area please stop by this restaurant I promise you it’s worth your while"

"I go to this place all the time. The food is very tasty like their name boasts. The stew chicken has much flavor, the curry goat is my favorite they make it very tender and flavorful. The oxtails also are tender and full of flavor. I like their jasmine rice and they also made yellow Spanish rice the other day which was very good. They have a menu full of variety but I really love that goat and stew chicken. The staff is friendly and even supported my small business. The best thing is their prices which is fair. I paid $10 for my small curry goat meal and the oxtail which would cost $15 elsewhere for the same small plate. I definitely would recommend this place and I can't wait to visit again"

"I'm a vegetarian so I only had rice & peas with steam veg. Rice was a little under cooked but edible. Steam veg was great. Vanessa was amazing and the restaurant was CLEAN!!! I definitely will be calling to order a veggie chunks meal. I also got my Mom a small meal with fried chicken and she had 0 complaints."
